Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on July 21, 2015, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley. Arrangements by Sunrise Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 George Allen Burns was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Mary Ruth (Hall) and Porter Wilson Burns. He passed away at his Prescott Valley home on July 15, 2015, at the age of 75. George was a graduate of Phoenix Union High School. For many years, he was a mechanic, truck- and bus driver. George was an avid hunter, and enjoyed gunsmithing. He is survived by his wife Gloria Burns; daughter Debra Burns; son Marce Burns; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; sister Jo Ann Crumm; and brother Tom Buns. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. on July 21, 2015, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
