Donald Paul Lange, Sr., 89, of Prescott, Arizona died Thursday July 23, 2015, in Prescott.
Donald was born in Westgate, Iowa, later moving to Rochester, Indiana. He was a World War II Navy Veteran serving our country from February 1944 until May 1946.
During his professional career in both retail and wholesale sales, he lived in Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, California and Arizona. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf. He was an excellent cook and was proud of the many dinners he helped cook for the local Prescott VFW.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Martha Lange, a brother, Art Lange, and a sister, Vernie Wilkes.
He is survived by his sons, Donald Lange, Jr., of Atlanta, Georgia, and John Lange of Jefferson City, Missouri; daughters Tonna (Tony) Marroni of Anderson, South Carolina, and Patty (Jerry) Sellers of Mason City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Gabriel (Amy) Marroni and Britney Marroni of Anderson, South Carolina, Jason (Krista) Sellers of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Andrea (Tyler) Velzke of Morristown, Minnesota; two great-grandchildren, Greta and Dale Velzke, and a sister, Elaine Adams of Indianapolis, Indiana.
There will be a private family service will be at a later date.
