PRUETT, David Paul

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/31/2015 David Paul Pruett, 60, died Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Springerville. He was born Nov. 23, 1954, in Colorado Springs, Colo., the son of William Dewitte and Irene Elizabeth Shumans Pruett. He worked as a security guard at Tucson Electric Power. David was self-sacrificing in raising his children and grandchildren and helping with his great-grandchildren. During his illness, he encouraged others, never once showed signs of fear or faltered in his faith. “We look forward to seeing him in Jehovah’s Paradise.” He was very loved by family and friends. David is survived by his wife, Jackie Pruett; son Heath; those he thought of as sons: Jerry and Pete; daughters Kristina, Dondy, Sammy and Tonya; brother Kevin Pruett, sister Donna LeRae, 18 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. “We would all like to thank Bank of the West, Burnham Mortuary, Dr. Hamblin, Dr. Heap and Hospice.” A memorial service was held Saturday, July 25, in Springerville.
