THOMPSON, James (Lou)

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Friday, June 26, 2015 James "Lou" Thompson, age 61, died at his home in Rimrock, Arizona. Lou was born April 20, 1954 in Flagstaff to Mina (Shanks) Thompson and R.J. Thompson. He worked as a printer for many years in Flagstaff and the Rimrock area where he enjoyed hiking, art and music. He is survived by his mother Mina Thompson, sisters Sharron Thompson and Nancy Newberry-Lippman, and two sons, Ian Thompson and Sean Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father ,Richard J. Thompson. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St, Flagstaff, Arizona.
