The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/07/2015 Diane ‘Deedo’ Woolley Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend Diane "Deedo" Woolley died July 29, 2015, in Chandler after a 17-month battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 23, 1949, in Tacoma, Wash. Deedo was 65 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Edith Bradbury, and brother Thomas Bradbury. She is survived by her soulmate “prince charming” husband of 37 years, Brad Woollery; children Cody Woolley, Cade Woolley and Mikko (Devin) Pierce; and beloved grandchildren Maddox Lawien, Avery Woolley, Ella Pierce and Cohen Pierce. Miss Deedo taught at a handicapped preschool at Blue Ridge Elementary for 18 years. During her time she always showered her students with hugs, smiles and happy times. She impacted so many people with her vibrant personality, optimism and her love for life. She was the most giving and compassionate woman and will be remembered and missed by many. Deedo always considered her biggest attribute to be her gift of joy and happiness. A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at The Gathering Place in Pinetop. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Deedo’s honor to either Mayo Cancer Research Center, where she received treatment and the best care, or The Love Kitchen in Pinetop, where she loved to volunteer.
