Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Karen Jo Adley Way July 07, 1954 ~ August 04, 2015 Karen Jo Adley Way “Joycee” entered into rest on August 4, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. Karen was born July 7, 1954 to Jones and Geraldine Adley. She was an educator for thirty plus years, and taught at John F. Kennedy Day School, Theodore Roosevelt Boarding School, MVR Seven Mile Elementary School and East Fork Mission School. Karen was a loving, thoughtful and caring person. She was everyone’s Auntie. She loved all the grandchildren very much. Karen was a devout Catholic. She is survived by her daughter: Toni Adley; grandchildren: Katrina, Karina and Manny; husband: Edison Way; sisters: Bernadette Adley Santa-Maria, Maria (Randy) Classay, Sandra Velasquez and Corinne (Benny) Zospah; plus many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, clan relatives and friends. Also all the students she taught over the years. Karen is preceded in death by her parents: Jones and Geraldine Adley; brothers: Jones Adley Jr. and Ricardo Adley. Her wake was held Monday August 10, 2015 at 10:00am at 3230 Fort Apache Rd. in Whiteriver. The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:00am at the St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Fort Apache Cemetery.
