No local service will be held for Ida Gertrude Chilton. A service will be held at a later date in Wickenburg, Ariz. Mrs. Chilton, 100, of Gold Hill, died Friday (Oct. 6, 1989). Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of choice. She was born Ida G. Fields, Aug. 16, 1889, in New Franklin, Mo. In December 1912, in Missouri, she married Albert B. Chilton, who died in 1959. She moved to the Rogue Valley eight years ago from Prescott, Ariz. She had been a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Kelly Chilton, Gold Hill; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Conger-Morris Funeral Directors of Central Point handled arrangements.
