The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 08/28/2015 Isabell “Sue” Alice Simmons, 70, of White Mountain Lakes unexpectedly went to be with the angels Aug. 9, 2015. She was born June 17, 1945, in Douglas to the late Earl and Josephine Fullen. In Douglas is where she met Charley Simmons, and they married May 29, 1974. The couple moved to Show Low in 1984 where they made the White Mountains their home. She loved to spend time with all of her family and friends. She had a heart of gold. It would give her so much joy to make people smile. She considered her self rich with the love she had for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all! She is survived by her husband, Charley Simmons of White Mountain Lake; daughters Terry and Gina, both of Show Low; granddaughters Kayla (Chauncy) Ornelas and Kara Huggins, both of Show Low; grandsons Kenneth Huggins of Columbia, Tenn., and Brandon Covington of Show Low; brother Earl Fullen of Casa Grande and sister Mary Francis “Frankie” McMillian of Cahone, Colo.; six nephews; one niece; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and also her dog, Angel. She was preceded by her brother, William Joseph Fullen. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the White Mountain Lakes Community Church.
