Hassayampa Miner (Wickenburg AZ) Thursday, March 8, 1917, p 4:3 J. P. Hutchinson, Jr., Killed At Indianapolis Telegraphic dispatches report the death of J. P. (sic: Howard D) on the 28th of February, at Indianapolis, Indiana, as the result of an automobile accident. No further particulars have been received. Mr. Hutchinson was the son of J. P. Hutchinson, president of the Empress Copper Mining Company, who a year ago purchased and is operating the Swallow, or Dobler, mine about twenty miles northeast of this place. The unfortunate young man had been spending the winter with his parents, at Phoenix, and only a few weeks ago was in Wickenburg with his father.
