The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 02, 2015 John M. Bunger, 68, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015. He leaves his wife Sue; his children, Jon Bunger-Johnson, Gina Carlson, Michael Bunger, Sarah Barrie, Brandon Bergstrom and Joey Bunger. He leaves five grandchildren, Meagan Barrie, Ashley Barrie, Drew Bergstrom, Alexander Carlson and Andrew Carlson. He is survived by his mother Martha Bunger; his brothers Thomas Bunger, Chuck Bunger, Rick Bunger, Bill Bunger; and their extended families. John was born in Phoenix and raised in Prescott, Arizona. He graduated from Prescott High School in 1959. He worked as a finance manager and traveled around the country working in the car industry that he loved. John was a true lover of life and could make anyone smile. He was very fond of American history and loved to visit former battlegrounds and monuments. A private burial will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at Heritage Memorial Park in Dewey, for immediate family and close friends. Following the burial will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at Faith United Community Church in Prescott Country Club. Arrangement entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
