Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Monica Marie Deniz (January 30, 1984 - September 3, 2015) Our Beautiful Monica Marie Deniz was born into this world on January 30, 1984, and went home to meet her Heavenly Father on September 3, 2015. Monica will be remembered for her brilliant smile, her radiant heart, her love of books, her compassion for humanity, her hunger for knowledge, but most importantly for her tremendous love and dedication for her niece and two nephews who she devoted her life to, helped raise, and who she referred to as “My Kids”. There are no adequate words to express the void that so many will feel in her absence. But we will forever treasure the love and memories that she left behind. Monica is survived by her mother and father Dorothy Garduno and Domingo Deniz, sister Marissa Hammer, Grandmother Katie Gallegos, her “kids” Ethan Hammer, Shawna Hammer, Isaac Lopez and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. Please join her family in celebration of her beautiful life on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 12:00 Noon for viewing and a 1:00p.m. Memorial Service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
