SANDOVAL, SR., Alejandro (Alex)

The Eastern Arizona Courier, Safford, Arizona ~ January 25, 2006 Alejandro "Alex” Sandoval was born April 23, 1939, in Rosenberg, Texas, and passed away Jan. 14, 2006, in Tucson. Alejandro came to Arizona in 1953 with his parents and eight siblings. In 1959, he met Julia Palacio and, one year later, they married. Together, they had 11 children. Alejandro was a hard worker and a very kind man to all he knew. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Julia; children, Jesse (Victoria), Roseanna (Ralphie), Rosalda (Enrique), Alex (Linda), Corrina, Johnnie (Sophia) and Angel; brothers, Frank (Vasilia) and Roy; two sisters, Josefina and Lupe; and 27 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four children; his parents; brothers, Leonardo, Ramon, Antonia, Alfonzo; and sister, Luz. Arrangements were entrusted to Morris Safford Funeral Home.
