KOLAR, Joseph Seven (Joe)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, September 18, 2015 Joseph S. Kolar, 71, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born March 23, 1944, in Sturgis, South Dakota, to Stephen and Philomene (Larkin) Kolar. Joe was in the U.S. Army and received an honorable discharge. He then went on to work for the Veterans Administration Medical Center for 35 years and retired in 2003. He is survived by his wife, Sue; children Scott, DeeDee (Kevin), Teresa (Gary), Bobby Joe (Val) and John; grandchildren, Jessica (Gene), Keely, Colin, Panterra, Geddy; and sisters Barbara and Mary Ann. Private services were held at the Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott. Hampton Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
