FOULK, Sharon Ruth

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, September 11, 2015 Sharon Ruth (Wood) Foulk, age 71, of Dover, Arkansas passed from this life to life eternal on Sept. 4, 2015 in Prescott, Arizona. She was born April 23, 1944 in Watonga, Oklahoma, and is the daughter of Josh and the late Phyllis (Grimes) Wood. Sharon was raised in Arizona and attended Gilbert High School. She was rich in family and friends, loved by many. The wife of a truck driver, she enjoyed travelling and visiting with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and husband, Harrison E. Foulk. Sharon is survived by her father Josh Wood; brother Gary Wood; and sister Carolyn Walker, all of Dover, Arkansas; son Denny L. Foulk of Prescott, Arizona; daughters Denise Maddox of Clute, Texas and Judy Patton of Hartman, Arkansas. Sharon has nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Joseph Foulk, Joshua Foulk, Jessica Foulk, Katie Cola, Jonathan Cola, Cody Cola, Amanda Hickey, Britany Hawthorne, and Austin Patton. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Oct. 10, 2015, at McFadden Cemetery in Dover, Arkansas. The Rev. John Kindrix, pastor of the Coal Hill Assembly of God, will conduct the service. A celebration of Sharon's life will proceed services at the residence of Josh Wood. Hampton Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
