The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 09/22/2015 Carol M. Shaw, 76 died peacefully Sept. 15, 2015 in Mesa. Carol, an Arizona pioneer descendent, led a very happy and active life filled with family, friends and church. A lifetime of activities included working with and developing educational programs for Christian youth, genealogy and most importantly spending time with her family. Carol had volunteered as the Secretary of the White Mountain Horseman’s Association. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Shaw; sons Brian (Suzanne) and Dan (Kimberly); eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 23, preceded by a visitation at 9 a.m. at Bunker University Chapel, 3529 University Dr., in Mesa followed by a graveside service at National Military Cemetery, 23029 N.
