TREADAWAY, Hazel Marie

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 Hazel Marie Treadaway, age 97, passed away on Sept. 18, 2015. She was born on July 24, 1918, in Higden, Arkansas. In 1943, she moved with her husband and children to Morenci, Arizona where she lived until her retirement in 1978 from the Morenci school food service department. She and her husband spent 23 years in Prescott before moving to Baptist Village, Youngtown, Arizona in 2001. Preceding her in death was her husband of 67 years, Marlin. Hazel is survived by son Glen (Joan) of Prescott; daughters, Janice Stephens (Archie) of Goodyear and Carolyn Miller (Everett) of Phoenix; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Sun City, 11019 W. Peoria Ave., Sun City, Arizona. The family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Burial follows service at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
