MILLER, JR., Vard Landon

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, October 04, 2015 Vard Langdon Miller Jr., 80, of Sun City West passed away on Sept. 18, 2015. Vard Miller served his country and his family throughout his 80 years. Born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1935, Vard joined the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served for over 20 years. After retirement, he worked for the IRS in Phoenix and Prescott. Vard volunteered for organizations including the Lions, the library, and his church. He is survived by his four children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, who will miss him very much. A celebration of his life will be at Unity of Surprise on Oct. 17 at 11 a.m., 14495 West R.H. Johnson Blvd, Sun City West, AZ 85375. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Arizona Humane Society. Information provided by survivors.
