Frank Oxborrow, 79, of Prescott Valley passed away on Sept. 27, 2015.
He was in the Lions Club, Prescott Valley Early Birds Club for 42 years. He got his degree in education at Utah State, in Logan, Utah and a Master's Degree in guidance counseling at NAU, Flagstaff, Arizona. His first job was teaching in a one-room classroom in Mcdermitt, Nevada. He taught in Winnemucca, Nevada for 35 years, retired from Nevada and found he didn't like retirement and continued counseling at Bradshaw Mountain High School for another nine years.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Oxborrow; three children, Mark (Charlotte) Oxborrow, Lisa (Matt) Hess, Erik (Stefanie) Oxborrow; three grandchildren, Cody Hess, Cory Hess and Kaitlyn Oxborrow; and his two sisters.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona.
