RICHARDS, Robert (Cowboy Bob)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, October 07, 2015 Robert “Cowboy Bob” Richards, 71, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015. At his request, no service or memorial will be held. Bob was born in Oklahoma on Valentine’s Day 1944. He attended schools in Oklahoma, Wyoming, Alberta and Montana. Bob held a variety of jobs, including lumberjack, art dealer, shooting instructor, entertainer/guide at Los Caballeros, and spent his last few working years employed by the Arizona DOT. He loved golfing, singing and playing guitar, shooting, hunting and fishing, sailing and horses. Bob was an NRA life member, member of the Elks, Wickenburg Country Club and S.A.L. of the American Legion Post 12. He was preceded in death by his parents and late wife Jeanne. Bob is survived by his daughter Ava, son Rex, brother Bill of Washington state and friend and helpmate Jane Conover.
