Harley Ellis Radley, of Dewey, passed away in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He was 72 years old.
He was married to the former Ellen F. Mello of Alameda, California, from 1968 until her passing in 2001.
He is survived by his daughter, Jaime, of New Orleans; son David (Michelle) of San Diego, California; and Leslie and Dave Elkins of Castro Valley, California, who considered him a father.
He is also survived by a half-brother, David (Deborah) of Lincoln, California; and a very caring and special friend, Marie Trillingham of Port Angeles, Washington and formerly of Prescott Valley. He is survived by many friends in both Arizona and California.
He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1961-64 aboard the U.S.S. Princeton LPH-5. He worked for 22 years at Ohlone College in Fremont, California. He enjoyed fishing, as well as being an avid golfer. He was a member of the Prescott Golf and Country Club where he spent many a day playing, serving as a marshal or spending time around the clubhouse.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
