Darrel Edwin Long Born in Topeka, Kansas on Jan. 30, 1951. Departed on May 11, 2005 and resided in Cornville, Arizona. Darrel Edwin Long, 54, of Cornville died May 11, 2005. He was born January 30, 1951 in Topeka, Kansas. Before illness forced his retirement, he worked as a deliveryman for Verde Floral. Prior to that, Darrel had been a carpet layer. He enjoyed fisihng, camping and cars. Darrel leaves his life partner Sandy Smith; three sons, Dale Long, Charles Long and Elyi Stocks, all of Cottonwood; a daughter, Evelyn Long of Cottonwood; brothers, Ronnie and Keith Sanders,; a sister, Rhea Crofut all of Oklahoma; and six grandchildren. There are no public services planned. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
