ALTAHA, Leesha Marie

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/09/2015 Leesha Marie Altaha died Sept. 30, 2015, surrounded by loved ones as she went home to be with the Lord in Whiteriver. She was born Oct. 8, 1989, to Elvis Sr. and Marian Altaha. Leesha worked with the tribal forestry camp crews and loved to go to church. She loved her kids, family and relatives. She had many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son, Darrias Eli Boss Altaha; daughter Arainna Cendle Altaha; father Elvis Altaha Sr.; mother Marian Altaha; two brothers, Aaron Presley Altaha and Darrick Truax; two sisters, Marissa K. Altaha and Elmaria K Altaha; and grandmothers Serena Altaha and Caroline Alchesay. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Derrick, Darvin and Elvis Altaha Jr., and grandparents Martha Antonio and Lillian Burnette. Leesha will be brought home for a wake Thursday, Oct. 8, at 416 Clover St., in Canyon Day. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at the Canyon Day Assembly of God church. Funeral arrangements were handled by Silver Creek Mortuary of Pinetop.
