The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/16/2015 Flora Minjares Medina, 78, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in Show Low. She was born Oct. 26, 1936, in Midland, Texas, the daughter of Clemente and Concepcion Vargas Minjares. Flora was a homemaker. She loved her family and grandchildren and embraced her Catholic faith. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a very faithful wife 60 years of married life. She is survived by her husband, Cruz Medina of St. Johns; son Lorenzo Medina of Hope, N.M.; daughters Bertha Medina of Glendale; Sylvia Medina of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Esperanza Ramirez of Yountown; brother Flavio Minjares; sisters Balbina Munoz, Dominga Magana and Cressy Cardenas; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A rosary and funeral mass were held Monday, Oct. 12, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Johns. Interment followed at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
