The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/23/2015 Michael Arron Ellis Nelson, 41, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at his Cortez, Colo., home. He was born June 23, 1974, in Phoenix, the son of Michael and Shelley (Hall) Nelson. Surviving Arron are his wife, Kristen Nelson of Cortez, Colo.; father Mike Nelson (Anita) of Dolores, Colo.; mother Shelley Hagaman (Glen) of Flagstaff; son Michael Jake Nelson of Cortez, Colo.; stepchildren Braydon Bertram of Dolores, Colo., Eadyn Bertram of Cortez, Colo., and Trayven Bertram of Dolores, Colo.; sister Lindsee Hall of Flagstaff; aunt and uncle, Vickie Whiting Kerulis (Gary) of Flagstaff; cousins Shannon Potter of Tucson and Bailee Kerulis of Flagstaff; nieces Destinee Hall and Dailee Hall; and nephew Drake Hall. Arron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Penrod Young. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Downtown Chapel in Show Low. Interment will follow at Show Low Cemetery.
