The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/27/2015 Donna Lee Didyoung gained her angel wings Oct. 23, 2015, at the age of 76. She was born Nov. 16, 1938, in Phoenix, to Clair and Virginia Workman. Donna was Miss West Virginia 1957. She relocated to Phoenix in 1966 and the same year she began working for Sperry (now Honeywell) where she met her husband, Joseph Didyoung. During her lifetime. Donna raised and loved many children. Her “kids” as she called them, were her life. Donna is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 48 years, Joseph (Joe) Didyoung; daughters Tina Holcomb of Prescott Valley, Kimberly Didyoung of Prescott, Laura Coy of Malibu, Calif. and Janine (Kenneth) Sandoz of Show Low; grandchildren: Tara (Justin) Domres of Peoria, Joshua (Liz) Miller of Peoria, Brittney Miller of Glendale, Stephanie Miller of Prescott, Helen Didyoung of Prescott, Zachary Coy and Forrest Coy of Malibu, Calif., and Tru and River Sandoz of Show Low; and her siblings Dave Workman of Casa Grande and Virginia Workman of Prescott. Donna was the great-grandmother to six beautiful great-grandchildren Jadyn and Stetson Domres, Rosalee Garcia, and Hunter, Harper, and Ledger Miller. Donna was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was completely happy when surrounded by her family. Donna was preceded in death by her son, Todd Walker of Show Low. Donna will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.
