Cancer called, but God answered and safely transported Malcolm Morris into the arms of Jesus. Malcolm (Buck) Morris died Oct. 17, 2015, at his Concho home at the age of 72.
He was born in California, raised in Texas and spent many happy years in Alaska. He worked at the Anchorage, Alaska, airport and later owned the Iceworm RV Park in Wasilla, Alaska. His pride at having served in the U.S. Navy was well known.
He is survived by his wife, Nyoka of Concho; daughter and son-in-law Annamay and Carl Ivey of Alaska; and daughters Melanie Miller of Mesa and Noel Ricken of Concho. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many friends.
There will be no formal services at this time. The family will plan a memorial at a later date.
His ashes will be interred at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Phoenix.
He was loved deeply by family and friends and will be remembered always.
May all who loved him be granted the peace that only God provides.
