Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Roselee Edna Siegler February 08, 1942 ~ November 07, 2015 Roselee Edna (Malone) Siegler was called to heaven on Saturday, November 7, 2015 after complications from a battle with breast cancer. As a loving mother and wife, Roselee embraced all that life had to offer and left behind a legacy of love, strength and family. Roselee is survived by her husband, Francis Norman Siegler. Together, they embarked on countless adventures and cherished the variety of places they lived in their 54+ years of marriage. They called Belle Plaine, MN their home for many years as they raised their five beautiful children; Christopher (Brenda) Siegler, Susan (Ronald Gurley) Siegler, William (Kara) Siegler, Margaret (Larry) Mills, and Mary (Scott Watry) Siegler. She also opened her home and her heart to numerous four legged fur babies as well. Most recently she was joined in heaven by her devoted companion, Dibble. Roselee shared a special bond with her ten grandchildren; Kelvin (TylerMarie) Brandl, Hunter Siegler, Zachary Mills, John Robert Siegler, Brianna Meyer, Jenna Gurley, Shane Gurley, Gracie Siegler, Grace Meyer, and Alexander Meyer. Roselee dedicated her life to helping others as an advocate for disadvantaged and disabled individuals. She received her bachelors and master’s degrees in social work from Mankato State University, worked with mentally and physically handicapped adults, developed a rehabilitation program for juveniles in Oregon and ended her career working with the deaf/blind for the State of Minnesota. Roselee was a shopping aficionado and never passed up a good sale. She loved to travel and was often referred to as “Susie Cruise Director” by her children. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge with the girls, and genealogy. Roselee also had a passion for quilting and volunteered her time to make quilts for Quilts for Soldiers. Her deep faith shone through in all that she did. Faith, family and service to others was at the core of who Roselee was. Her life was an example to all those around her, but mostly for her children who will miss her guidance, input and advice.
