Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg AZ) Wednesday, June 3, 1998, p A-14 Michael A. Henderson of Phoenix and a former resident of Wickenburg, died May 25 in Phoenix. He was 33. Mr. Henderson was born Nov. 9, 1964 in Tempe. He was a lifelong resident of Arizona. Michael Henderson was a proud member of the Jr. Electrician, I.B.E.W. Local No. 640 of Phoenix. Throughout his life Michael enjoyed football, fishing and many other athletic pursuits. He attended both Mesa and Rio Salado College while working to obtain a higher level of education in his chosen field of becoming the best electrician he could be. It was quite evident that Michael lived his life to the fullest, always had a smile on his face even when the odds seemed to be stacked up against him. He brought encouragement to all those he knew in his life with a good word to say to anyone whom he crossed paths with. Mikey--although you may be gone from us, we hold many precious memories of you in our hearts. Thanks for being the best son, brother, cousin, and friend for the 33 years we had you in our lives. Survivors include his mother, Norma Henderson of Phoenix; a brother, Mark Henderson of Phoenix; a cousin, Steve Henderson of Phoenix; seven uncles, Doyle, Lloyd, Wayne, Ramond and Jerry Henderson, Rex Dalton, and Jerry Slaten, all of Indiana; five aunts, Brenda, Shirley, Genevieve, Henrietta and Linda, all of Indiana; two nephews; two nieces; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, in 1993. Services were held Saturday, May 30 in the Wickenburg Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jim Bledsoe officiated. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home handled all the arrangements.
