Jerry D. Means, Sr., born January 3, 1940 in Charleston, West 
Virginia to Guy and Clara Means passed away at 75 years of age on 
November 20, 2015 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. 

After High School he joined the U.S. Air Force. He married Karolyn 
Goldman, moved to Chicago, Illinois and started their family; Cindy 
means of Holcomb, KS, Voni McDonald of Arvada, CO, Suzy Bennett of 
Gilbertville, Iowa and Jerry Means of Westminster, CO. He was “Papa” 
and “Great Papa” to many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 
his first grandson, Jesse McDonald.
 
Jerry retired after 40 years to Lake Havasu City, AZ where he and 
Karolyn spent 16 happy years. 

There will be a celebration of life after holidays in Kansas and 
Summer at Steamboat Cove with special friends. 

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
