She was born to Roy and Marie Rose Smith on September 17, 1922 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She met Robert Edward Dixon in Cairo, Egypt and they were wed on Jun 10, 1992 in Cody, WY; they were married for 23 years. Marjorie earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Alberta. She was employed by the Canadian Foreign Service and the United Nations. She was originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; through work she lived in many different countries around the world. She enjoyed golf, fishing, dancing and crafts. She was a member of the Anglican Church. Marjorie is survived by her husband, Robert E. Dixon of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and step-daughter, Anette Showalter (Robert); 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Marie Rose Smith and 4 brothers. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
