CROAFF, Evan Anson


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, November 29, 2015 Evan Anson Croaff passed away peacefully Nov. 6, 2015 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 18, 1950 to Vernon B and Velma Love Croaff, who preceded him in death. Evan started his work career on the Phoenix Fire Department at the age of 25 and served on the department for 23 years. He then went to work at Biel Foreign Car Repair for 10 years. He then decided to give the Bagdad mine a try moving his wife there to finish out his working career, retiring after 10 years. He had many other endeavors in his 65 year lifetime all of which gave him great pleasure. Evan was a loving husband and father and friend to many. He served many years at FOE 3600 and became state president of the AZ Eagles from 1993-1994. The Arizona Children's Burn Camp was his project for the year and was a huge success raising over $17,000. He loved to make his family and friends "Happy" and lived life to the fullest. He is survived by wife of 45 years, Terry L Croaff; daughters, Kimberly Ann (Gary) Carpenter, Jodi Linn Welch, Tara Marie(Jesse) Platt; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He will be greatly missed! An informal remembrance will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at Pudge & Asti's Sports Bar & Grill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Arizona Children's Burn Camp. Information provided by survivors.
