JOHNSON, Susan Christina

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, November 22, 2015 Susan Christina Johnson, age 69 of Prescott, Arizona passed away in the comfort of her home on Oct. 26, 2015, after 15 months of battling inflammatory breast cancer. She was a well-known member of the community. Most knew her for her fun loving spirit and kind heart. She was always willing to help others anyway she could. She donated her body to science hoping to find a cure for this terrible disease. She is survived by her children, Angela McCarter of Enid, Oklahoma, Philip Podolski of Tucson, Arizona, Christina Wilson of Irving, Texas and Mark Welch of San Jose, California. She leaves behind many "adopted" children; good friends; her beloved Spazz the cat; and six grandchildren; including Emma McCarter of Enid, Oklahoma and Skylar Wilson of Irving, Texas. A memorial service in her honor will be at 1 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2015, at VFW 541 in Prescott, Arizona. Please join us for a potluck and celebration of her life. Information provided by survivors.
