Barbara Healey, 80, Lake Havasu City, passed away Nov. 23, 2015 at
the Heritage House with her family by her side under the care of
Beacon of Hope.
Barbara J. Richard was born June 6, 1935 in Cridersville, Ohio to
Russell and Marie (Bailey) Richard. After graduation, she was a
homemaker and raised her children. She lived in Chandler from 1976
until settling in Lake Havasu City in 1990.
On Oct. 27, 1977, she married Ronald Healey. Ron passed away in
2007.
Barbara will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her children Gloria (Terry) Weatherford, Apache
Junction, Sharon (Steve) Bowers, Lake Havasu City, Mark (Susie)
Platt, Lake Havasu City; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Erik
and Adam Platt; Jason, Kevin and Shae Platt; Heather Joyce and
Tawnya Merrick; Reggie Elliott; Angela and Donnie Burger; Michael
and Jessica Roache; Christie and Rickie Mullen; Charles Bowers;
Angel Petty; Justice and Lyrick Roache; Jordan, Jayda, Julana,
Cheyene Kaylor; Donnie and James Burger; Stephen, Elliott, Savana,
Jayce and Taylor Merrick; Kathryn Joyce; Savannah, Mikaylian and
Keven Platt; Madison and Brayden Platt; Chelsea Petty; Kevin Cooper;
Hunter and Jasmine Mullen.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, son George
Platt and her parents, Russell and Marie.
She loved Lakeview Church and singing in the choir. Her life was
fulfilled with her grandkids and family.
Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary and
Crematory, veteran and family-owned.
