John Engle Lux, 77, Mesa, Arizona, died Monday evening at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. Leroy Light, at Chandler, Arizona, local relatives learned today.

A retired employe of the Lebanon Steel Foundry and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, he is survived by his wife Phoebe (Heverling) Lux and the following children: Miss Daisy M. Lux, Dayton, Ohio; Edna, wife of David Corl; Esther, wife of Harry Miller; Sarah, wife of John Snyder; Betty, wife of James Stamm; John Edward, all of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Also three sisters, Mrs. Harry Eichelberger, Mrs. Claude Wise, Mrs. Katie Spang; and brothers, Howard Lux, and Edward Beck, all of Lebanon.
