Jimmy David Hahn, 68, passed away Dec. 8, 2015 in Lake Havasu City.
He was born to Minnie Vivian and James Dewitt Hahn Sept. 23, 1947 in
Kemmerer, Wyo. He lived in Kemmerer all of his life. After
retirement, he spent winters at his home in Lake Havasu City.
Jimmy served in the U.S. Army for two years in Vietnam where he
earned a Bronze Star. He was employed with Utah Power and Light for
36 years as a relay technician.
Jimmy married Linda Angelo Sept. 16, 1967 in Kemmerer and later
divorced; there were two sons of the marriage. He married Sandra
Kampman July 20, 2002 in Kemmerer.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of Eagles,
Elks, American Legion and a lifetime member of VFW.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Sandra Hahn of Lake Havasu City;
sons, Jimmy D. Hahn, Jr. (Dana) of Kemmerer, Wyo., Shane J. Hahn
(Lynae) of Diamondville, Wyo.; stepson Michael Kampman (Crystie) of
Diamondville, Wyo.; stepdaughter Heidi Morris (Nathan) of Laramie,
Wyo.; sister Terry Compton (Gary Toy); niece Debbie McNally (Rick);
12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two great-nieces, one
great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Minnie V. and James D. Hahn
and his brother, Mark Hahn.
Military honors are Friday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. at Lake Havasu
Memorial Gardens, followed by a Celebration of Life at BBQ Bill’s,
3557 Maricopa Ave., in Lake Havasu City.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
