Philip Flohr, 65, passed away on December 8, 2015 in Lake Havasu
City, Arizona. He was born to Philip and Jean Louise Flohr on March
18, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA.
Phil and his wife Jackie were introduced on a blind date by close
friends and were married one year later in Long Beach, CA on
November 16, 1991. They shared 24 loving years together. He enjoyed
woodworking and creating stained glass art. He was an expert at
“Honey-do’s” as well.
Phil was a family man. He was very proud of his son, Kenny for
earning his Masters degree as well as the man he had grown up to be.
His daughter Amy, who called him “Popi”, has a special place in his
heart. He was adored by his grandchildren. He worked for Delta
Airlines Cargo for 33 years and he was a Vietnam War Veteran.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Jean Louise
Flohr; brother, Bruce and sister, Linda. He is survived by his wife,
Jacquelyn May Flohr of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son, James Kenneth
Steele of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Amy G. Horner of Castic, CA;
sisters, Donna Nally of San Jose, CA, Nancy Cargill of West Hills,
CA and his 3 grandchildren.
Phil was always accepting of everyone. He is very loved and will be
greatly missed.
Services will be held at a later date in California.
