BURNETTE, Ruben Dale

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/11/2015 Ruben Dale Burnette went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Dec. 4, 2015, in McNary. He was born Oct. 29, 1988, to Rufus Kessay and Delphine Burnette. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his son. He sang Apache songs and enjoyed hunting and being in the beautiful mountains. He is survived by his son, Camren Dale Burnette; mother Delphine Burnette; brothers Delvin J. Burnette and Brandon Thompson; grandparents Wilson and Walelle Burnette Sr. and Jasper and Arlinda Kesay Sr.; uncles Wilson Burnette Jr., Lowell Burnette, Jasper Kessay Jr. and Fredrick Kessay; and aunt Joyce Kessay. Ruben will be brought home for a two-night wake at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at 301 Whispering Pine Road at the Wilson and Walelle Burnette Sr. residence in McNary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the McNary School Gym. Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
