The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, December 02, 2015 Ruby Swartz, 91, passed away peacefully in the presence of our Lord on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at 12.38 a.m. at the Good Samaritan/Marley Care Center. She was the beloved wife of Floyd Swartz; they were married 60 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Swartz. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon, and son-in-law Cliff Branch, who live in Prescott Valley Arizona; five grandchildren, Jane Lambie (husband Paul), Aaron Branch, Cliff Branch Jr. (wife Michelle), Donald Swartz (wife Tammy), and Eric Steward (wife Seanna); 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three sisters, Gerry Altland, June Palmer and Ruthie Whelry (husband Charles), all in Pennsylvania; and daughter-in-law Pat Swartz in Colorado. Ruby was born in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 1, 1924. She had a full and busy, happy life with her military husband Floyd. She came to Prescott Valley, Arizona, from San Diego after her husband passed away in January 2005. She was a beautiful Christian and loving wife and mother and her daughter's best friend. She will be very missed. She will be buried in San Diego, California, beside her sweet husband. Information provided by survivors.
