NEIGHBORS, David (Dave) Lee

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, December 10, 2015 David (Dave) Lee Neighbors, son of Robert Neighbors and Rebecca McKaig, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 21, 2015, after a long struggle with ill health at the Prescott VA Hospital. He was born April 10, 1945 in Litchfield, Illinois. He is survived by his wife Monta Neighbors; son Randy Neighbors; grandson, Talon Neighbors; daughter Dodie Barnish; sisters, Mary Barnish Wright and Jenny Effron; nieces Lisa Effron and Erin Immegart; stepsons Jarrod Jacobi and Toby and Josh Lewis. He was preceded in death by his son Davey Eric Neighbors. He was a wonderful loving father, husband and family man. He was raised in Justice, Illinois until 1963 when he moved to Orange County, California. He entered the Army in 1968 during the Viet Nam war. In the early 1980s, he moved to Big Bear, California where he enjoyed gold mining on his claim. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
