Arrangements by ABC Funerals. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, December 20, 2015 Leslie "Les" Huff, 82, passed peacefully at home in Prescott, Arizona on Dec. 11, 2015. He displayed an amazing amount of strength, courage and grace throughout his life and will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband, father, distinguished businessman and friend to all he met. Les was born in Sulphur Springs, Kentucky on Jan. 15, 1933. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Pallie Huff. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marjorie; daughters, Christie Havenar, Peggy Huff and Deanna McCarthy; sisters, Hazel Little and Violet Velotta; grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Les owned Thumb Butte and Holiday Laundries and is a past president of Ponderosa Park Water Board. Before becoming a business owner, he was a veteran of the Korean War, a farmer and always a visionary. Les loved gardening, the outdoors and especially his family. He joyfully lived a full life, kept love in his heart at all times, and provided unwavering companionship and love to all he held dear. He was a prince and a fighter and filled many people with the incredible joy he felt for life. Les never met a stranger and always enjoyed visiting with the customers at his laundries. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 16, 2016 at the Heights Church, 2121 Larry Caldwell Drive, Prescott.
