1, 2015.
Scott Russell Callen was born Dec. 13, 1953 in Orange, Calif. to
Donald and Victoria (Hayman) Callen. He grew up in Garden Grove,
Calif. and graduated high school there. In 1991, he moved to Lake
Havasu City.
Scott married Marianne Visnovits April 1, 1994. They were together
for 30 years and lived and raised their family in Lake Havasu City.
He spent his career as a plasterer in the construction business and
was known as an artist in his profession. In 2008, he retired from
Southwest Plastering.
Scott is remembered for his love of family, work ethic and sense of
humor. He had excellent mechanical fabricating abilities, including
his designing of several hotrods and Jeeps. He loved the time he
spent taking his boys weightlifting, shooting and to the lake
fishing and boating.
He was happiest when he could spend time with the family, being on
the water or playing in the sand dunes. He thoroughly enjoyed taking
scenic trips with his family for he had such a great love of the
outdoors and nature. Nothing else mattered when he was with his wife
and kids. They were and are the biggest part of his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne; two sons, Cole and Clayton of
Lake Havasu City; his father, Donald, Garden Grove, Calif.; three
siblings, Ronald (Gloria), Henderson, Nev., Janis (Mike) Manley,
Anaheim Hills, Calif., and Tim (Ellen), San Clemente, Calif.; many
nieces and nephews and his dog Rourke.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Victoria.
