Donna Akiko Krivdo (nee Yokoyama), of Prescott Valley, Arizona entered into heaven peacefully on Dec. 14, 2015. She was 85 years old.
Donna was survived by her five children, Monica Selby of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, Matthew Krivdo of Camarillo, California, Melody Jordan of San Pedro, California, Mark Krivdo of Thousand Oaks, California and Melisa Chase of Sacramento, California; two sisters, Keiko Sakanashi of Pinole, California and Takiko Todo of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren, Evan Hagen of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, Ashleigh Chase of Sacramento, California and Aidan Chase of Sacramento, California.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Krivdo; youngest child Mitchell Krivdo of Prescott Valley, Arizona; and sister Yoshiko Ishizawa of Richmond, California.
Donna was born on Sept. 15, 1930 in Seattle, Washington to Takeshi and Hideyo Yokoyama. She attended Brooks Photography School in Santa Barbara, California, where she graduated and earned the title of Professional Photographer. Donna met her husband Jack while schooling at Brooks Photography. They were wed on June 26, 1956.
Donna was a stay at home mother to six children in Thousand Oaks, California until most of her children were grown. She later returned to the workforce using her photography skills in retail sales. She was a very active and dedicated member to her local Catholic Parishes in the towns she resided in.
A memorial is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9, 2016, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley, Arizona, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Plants (no flowers) and condolences can be sent to 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
