GODDARD, Betty

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 Betty Goddard, 84, died Dec. 11, 2015 at Good Samaritan in Prescott Valley. She was born Dec. 21, 1930 in Perryville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband George and daughter Joanne Vacca. Survivors include one son, George (Patty) Goddard of Pinegrove, California; one daughter Norma (Joe) of Prescott, Arizona; brother Jerry (Judy) Couch of Mayer, Arizona; sister, Peggy Grossini (Teddy) of Lompoc, California; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. After retiring in 1986, Betty moved from California to Arizona. She loved camping and fishing and spent numerous summers in West Yellowstone, Montana, where she added much laughter and memories to the lives of many. Betty was always ready for a trip to the "junk" store to find that one more special knick-knack. Her life was truly a coat woven of many colors and she will be missed. She will be interned at the VA Cemetery in Prescott with a memorial service to take place in the spring. Information provided by survivors.
