Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published on December 29, 2015 - Jane Elsie Morrison, 63, went in peace after a six-year battle with cancer, Dec. 26, 2015 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Aug. 10, 1952 in Massachusetts to Sidney and Dolores (Lasher) Knowlton. Jane met her husband Thomas James Morrison in Palm Springs, Calif. and they married Sept. 1, 1984 in Rockport, Mass., in the backyard of the home she grew up in. Together they moved to Lake Havasu City 16 years ago, coming from Peoria, Ill. Her children were her world and she loved her husband and children dearly. Jane came from a big family and loved them all deeply. She had many close friends who meant the world to her, including Clair, Betsy and Shirley; her dogs Oscar and Ollie were always by her side. Jane had a positive outlook on life and a heart of gold; her bubbly personality and smile will always be cherished. Jane was a faithful Jehovah’s Witness and will be deeply missed and always loved by her family and friends. Jane is survived by her husband of 31 years Thomas Morrison of Lake Havasu City; children, Christina and Mark Morrison; sisters, Bonnie Agostinelli and Gerry Ann Nuckols; brothers, John (Hucka), Jim and Sid Knowlton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Dolores Knowlton and a sister, Kathy Milner. The family would like to thank Dr. Niv and all the staff at CTCA in Goodyear. The care, love and compassion they showed to Jane will never be forgotten. Also thank you to the Polidori House during her final days. “To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides”.
