Wilma Ayers, 59, a Phoenix homemaker, died Oct. 5, 1987 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born in Monroe County, Ky.

Survivors include her husband, James; sons, Dwain Soards, Dwight Soards and Jerry Soards; stepdaughter, Mary Ann Warren; a brother; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. Friday, with services at 9 a.m., at Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Road.
