MCMAHAN, Anita Ada

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 Leslie and Anita Mc Mahan have departed into the hereafter 26 days apart, Leslie on Dec. 2, 2015 and Anita on Dec. 28, 2015. He was 99, born January 1916, and she was 97, born January 1918. Leslie had a distinguished career in our Arizona Highway Patrol retiring as a lieutenant. He had also served our nation in our own U.S. military as a young man. Anita was a strong spiritual influence in our family's lives as a devoted born-again Christian believer. She loved The Lord Jesus very much. They both will be greatly missed. They were blessed to have held their first great-great grandchild, Aryn Joy Patton. They are survived by their son, Ray; and daughters Laura and Pamela Ann; their grandchildren, Justin and Noah Mc Mahan and Royce, Barry and Troy Payne. Great grandchildren Lacey, Brittney, Jacob and Jessica are a wonderful part of Anita and Leslie's legacy. Services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Prescott V.A. Chapel by AZ DPS and U.S. military. Information provided by survivors.
