MAVIS, Evangeline

MARICOPA - Evangeline "Vangie" Mavis, 72, of Maricopa died peacefully on April 19, 2009. 
 
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler.

Mrs. Mavis was preceded in death by her husband, Joe. She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Perez; four sons, Gabriel Mavis, Joe Mavis Jr., Edward and Robert Mavis; two sisters, Olga Robles and Marcella Kuamoo; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
