MCCABE, Jacob Samuel

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/29/2015 Jacob Samuel McCabe, 32, resident of Prescott Valley, died Dec. 23, 2015, in Taylor of liver failure. He was born Sept. 10, 1982, in Whiteriver. Jacob was a 2001 graduate at Snowflake High. He was one of the youngest to receive general contractor’s license in 2002. He mastered his building skills under Dennis Montgomery while in high school. He is survived by his mother, Amy McCabe; father John Kiefer; sister Brandy McCabe; brother Aaron McCabe; son Kohl McCabe; daughter Allysa McCabe; nephews Elijah McCabe and Jaydin McCabe; niece Breklynn McCabe; uncles Calvin, Roy and Martin McCabe; and aunties Obie McCabe, Ocie Zimmermann and Odie Nordin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Rose McCabe. Funeral services will be held sometime the week of Dec. 27. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.
