NOWLIN, Robert Bradford

Robert Bradford "Bob" Nowlin, 60, formerly of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Services were held Tuesday, April 14 in Covington, Louisiana. Interment followed in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. He was the son of the late Inez Hazel Bradford Nowlin and Florentine Wade Nowlin. He was a State Farm agent for thirty years, a resident of the northshore for the past twenty years, and a U.S. Vietnam veteran serving the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Marie-France Nowlin; two daughters, Kristi Nowlin Spell and Sabrina Ann Shappley; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Nowlin. Published in the Florence Reminder and Blade-Tribune April 22, 2009.
