Mark Steven Johnson, 52, Lake Havasu City, passed away Jan. 5, 2016
at his home surrounded by his family.
Mark was born on Oct. 27, 1963 in Blythe, Calif.
His parents are Richard and Judith (King) Johnson. Mark lived his
entire life in Arizona, with 18 years in Parker Dam and 30 years in
Lake Havasu City. He worked as a meat cutter with Basha’s Grocery
Store for many years.
Mark was a loving, unique, gentle soul that was known for his love
of his family and his stubborn quirkiness. He had a passion for
hunting, fishing, archery, long-range shooting and his Christian
faith. He was an NRA member and loved more than anything to spend
time with his two daughters, his black Labrador and good friends.
He battled cancer for two years but remained positive and strong
throughout the fight. Mark will be forever remembered and dearly
missed.
He is survived by his children, Chelsea and Hannah Johnson of Lake
Havasu City; his mother Judy of Lake Forest, Calif.; siblings Scott
Johnson of Lake Forest, Calif., Leah Johnson of Texarkana, Texas;
the mother of his daughters, Julie Johnson of Lake Havasu City.
Mark and his father Richard passed away within minutes of each other
that day. They rest together peacefully in eternity.
A visitation and remembrance of his life will be Saturday, Jan. 9
from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Havasu Mortuary.
Mark will be buried at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are in the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory.
